Day 1: Arrival – Siem Reap, Sunset
Met and welcomed by our tour escort upon arrival at airport in Siem Reap, transfer to hotel for check-in and we take sightseeing of Siem Reap city, stroll around local markets and visit the finest Artisan d’Angkor wood and stone carving center. Evening, we’re heading off to visit sunset near a temple and then have some drinks and snacks on the mat.
Day2: Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat
Depart early in the morning to explore amazing jungle temple of Ta Prohm while the crowds are not arriving yet. Next drive to the south gate of Angkor Thom, explore Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas and the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, explore the temples of Angkor Wat, from 9 to the 14th Century, the center of the world empire of the Khmer civilization was.
Evening: enjoy private dinner under the serenity with candles lighting up along the pathway.
Day 3: Breakfast at temple, Banteay Srei & Water Blessing
Depart early in the morning and have breakfast near a temple within the jungle, you will have own private waiting staff to serve till breakfast ended. We drive beyond the Angkor Complex through the Preah Dark village to the intricately carved and well-preserved Banteay Srey temple, along the way back move on to visit school village and discover seasonal farming methods and other daily activities of local people. Afterwards, we go on to visit the marvelously restored Banteay Samre, built in the third quarter of the 12th century. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon, we head back to hotel and have relax. Then we’re going to active monastery to get ritual water blessing which inhabited to present Cambodia from thousand years ago. It is believed to bring good luck, peace, happiness and released feel.
Day 4: Kompong Phluk, Rolous Group Temple & village Sunset
We’re going to explore Kompong Phluk located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake, we then embark wooden boat to discover amazing stilted house standing over 8-10 high poles, visit flooded mangroves and witness villages animated by fishing activities, observe how people use the lake to survive and learn about this Asian ecosystems. (enjoy picnic lunch on this day). Afternoon we are going to take you to see the oldest temple group called Rolous Group, in this group you will visit 3 main temples which are Bakong Temple, Preah Ko Temple and Lo Lei Temple, after this we will take you to enjoy village sunset among rice field and have drinks, snacks on the mat.
